No Reason
A student, filled with emotion and crying, implored, “Why is there so much suffering?”
Suzuki Roshi replied, “No reason.” (via)
I like this.
The two other explanations are “It’s your Karma” and “God is testing you.” And maybe those are true, sometimes.
But for some reason, this is the one that makes me smile. 😀
