When you scroll down to the twelfth paragraph, you learn this:
The acts of violence were apparent anomalies in a sea of protests nationwide decrying a grand jury’s decision not to indict the officer who killed Garner, an unarmed black man.
That’s kind of an important fact to be buried so deeply, don’t you think?
It was like this in the 60s, too. For every hippie protesting war and discrimination, there were two people demonizing them and four people defending the status-quo.
