He’s using the word “progress,” to mean “converting children into worker drones and soldiers.”

He’s disappointed the process isn’t more efficient.

  1. …as I grow older, I realize more and more that is what public education (broadly used; include all other schools from other backgrounds in this) is for… in fact, that IS why public educations was needed at the start of the industrial age…
