“Cubo de Dados” by Nelson Leirner, 1970

There is something about this I find very appealing.

There are 216 dice in this project, 136 of which are visible.  The dice in the middle and on the bottom might be placed haphazardly and we’d never know, but I can’t imagine the artist would cut corners like that.
