Post Office

When I was a kid you could pay a few pennies more for a stamp to send your letter airmail, and for a few dimes more you could get a Special Delivery stamp.

My Aunt Helen used to always send my birthday cards Special Delivery. I don’t think it really got to me any faster, but it always made me feel special– and that, of course, is why she did it.
