How Proust Can change Your Life is a delightful little book that I’d recommend to anyone. You don’t need to have read a word of Marcel Proust’s books to enjoy De Botton’s book. I hadn’t– although it inspired me to obtain a copy of In Search of Lost Time and dive in.

(My initial, very early impression is that Proust will especially appeal to Grateful Dead fans.)
