Tennessee Ernie Ford was a favorite of my parents. I remember one of his album actually came with sheet music and lyrics, so everyone could sing along.

That’s something that’s rare in today’s music. There aren’t that many songs you can really sing along with.

    …you know … I hear this song so differently now… this is a comment on capitalism and is extremely political… I NEVER heard this song until today… I am surprised that it has not resurfaced in some way in the social discourse on equality and used as an anthem…
